TO: All National Capital Region (NCR) Local Presidents (or designate), NCR Component Regional Officers, Chairs of NCR Equity Groups and Women's Committees, Chair of Ottawa Area Council, Chair Conseil régional d'action politique de l'Outaouais, chair of the NCR Men's Action and Support Committee, the NCRC Executive, Regional Executive Vice-President (REVP) and Alternate REVP.
The next meeting of the NCRC will be held at the Holiday Inn Plaza de la Chaudière, 2 Montcalm St, Gatineau from 8:30a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday September 26, 2009. This meeting will be the Annual General Meeting (AGM).
To Register
Delegates to the General Meeting will consist of Local Presidents, or a Local member delegated by the Local's Executive to speak for the Local, NCR Component Regional Officers, Representatives of NCR Equity Groups and Women's Committees, Chair of the Ottawa Area Council, Chair of the Conseil régional d'action politique de l'Outaouais, Chair of the Men's Action and Support Committee, the RVP for Countries Outside Canada, the NCRC Executive, the Regional Executive Vice-President and Alternate REVP.
Please note that the registration form will also serve as your credentials. Observers are requested to register using the observer's form , and are welcome to attend.
No registration fees are required. It is however necessary for delegates to register by the deadline date to ensure the following:
- Adequate space and seating is available for delegates
- To meet accommodation needs
- To ensure quorum will be met
- To ensure delegates and observers receive the electronic documentation for the meeting (no hard copies will be available at the meeting)

Costs related to attendance at this meeting are not reimbursed except, in the case of delegates (who have registered by deadline date), for regularly scheduled work [loss of salary], or in the case of delegates (who have registered by deadline date for family care [as per the PSAC Family Care policy]).
GENERAL
Arrangements have been made for simultaneous translation. Sign language interpretation, alternate formats and other accommodation will be provided based on needs identified on the Special Needs Request Form . Required documents will be available on the Regional Website to registered delegates by September 21, 2009. In our efforts to go ‘Green’, there will be no hard copy documentation available at the meeting.
Documentation submitted for distribution at the General Meeting should be submitted electronically in both official languages by September 14, 2009.
Please be aware that many members are sensitive to chemicals, including those found in scents, perfumes and aftershaves.
