Members with Disabilities Action Committee

Victoria’s Quilts Canada is non-profit organization. Their mission is to provide hand-made quilts at no cost to people with cancer. To date they have made and distributed over 5,000 quilts.

The NCR Members with Disabilities Action Committee (MDAC) has decided to support this organization by running a campaign to collect fabric and money for their cause. The money will be used to buy additional fabric.

All contributions are welcome and appreciated. Here are the types of fabric and the sizes they are looking for:
Front panels: 100% cotton only.
Sizes: Metric: 0.5 metres
Imperial: approximately 20” or larger.

Back of the quilt: Flannelette in plain colours.
Sizes Metric: 1.5 metres wide by 2.1 metres long.
Imperial: 60” wide by 80” long (5 ft by 6 ft 6”)

OR

Metric: 0.941 meters wide by 2.794 meters long
Imperial 36” wide by 110” long (1 yd by 3 yd 2”)

You may drop off your donations at either Regional Office: 15 Holland Ave, Ottawa or 310 - 200 Promenade du Portage, Gatineau.
