Call for Participation

Greetings:

The PSAC-NCR will focus on two priorities this summer:

• Engage members in activities to promote the value of public services

• Obtain community support for public services 

We are looking for members who are prepared to help us do one thing this summer: attend area festivals to talk to people attending these events about public services. 

You won't go in cold or alone! We will offer a three hour course (in the evening) to help you get ready.  And you’ll work in teams. 

So this is a call for participation!  All members who love to chat with just about anybody, who are also good listeners, who enjoy being outdoors in a crowd and are prepared to talk to others about public services, are invited to contact us before June 22nd.  You can e-mail us at PSAC-NCR/AFPC-RCN [at] psac-afpc [dot] com or call us at 613-560-2560 or 819-777-4647 to let us know that you are available.  We promise this will be a fun and direct way of getting our campaign message out to our members and to the public. This will also be a great opportunity for you to put your skills into practice!

We will cover loss of salary and of course will pay festival admission charges and related expenses.  I hope you can join us!
